On the ‘Home’ page on the top right you will see a circle with an arrow. Click on that and select ‘My profile’.
Under your name click on ‘Edit profile’.
Click on the ‘Upload photo’ button. This will open File Explorer.
Select the photo you saved in your files.
Drag your image to move it around within the circular frame. Anything that sits outside of the frame will be cropped. When you are happy with how the image is displaying, click ‘Crop’.
Scroll down and click on the ‘Update’ button to save your photo to your profile.
How do I search the directory?
Click on the ‘Stay Connected’ page.
Scroll down to where it says ‘Search the full directory of community members’.
You can then search for an individual or groups of individuals by using the various filters and then clicking the ‘Search’ button.
How do I invite friends to join?
Click on the ‘Stay Connected’ page.
Scroll down to where it says ‘Search the full directory of community members’.
Type your friend’s name or use the filters and then click on the ‘Search’ button.
Scroll down and find your friend from the list.
In the ‘Actions’ column click on ‘Invite to join’ in the same row as their name.
Check you are happy with the subject line and message content and then click on the ‘Send’ button and it will be emailed to them.
If you are unable to find your friend or the ‘Invite to join’ option is not visible and you have the contact details for your friend, you may invite them by taking the below steps.
Click on the ‘Invite friends’ button in the top left corner.
Copy and paste the text into an email or Whatsapp message to your friend and send.
How do I join a club?
Log in to the Chigwell Connect website.
On the ‘Get Involved’ menu option, select ‘Clubs’ in the drop down.
You can search for a club using ‘Find a Club’ or you can click on the ‘Join now’ button of your chosen club at the bottom of the page.
An Admin of the club will be notified of your request to join the group and will approve your request (where appropriate).
Once you have joined you will be able to see other members of the club as well as club specific news, scores and updates. You will also be able to comment and share your own club news (subject to Admin approval).
How do I update my communication preferences?
Log in to the Chigwell Connect website.
On the ‘Home’ page on the top right you will see a circle with an arrow. Click on that and select ‘My settings’.
At the top of the Settings page, click on the ‘Edit’ cog next to Consent Options.
Click on the icon next to a consent statement to change it. A full heart means you have opted in, an empty white heart means you have not yet confirmed your decision, and the circle symbol means you have opted out.
Once you have chosen your communication preference for each statement, ensure you click on the ‘Save’ button to update your record.
How do I update my email address?
Log in to the Chigwell Connect website.
On the ‘Home’ page on the top right you will see a circle with an arrow. Click on that and select ‘My settings’.
Scroll down to ‘Email’ and click on the ‘Edit’ cog on the right-hand side of that row.
Click ‘Add email’.
Choose the type of email e.g. Personal or Work.
Type or paste your email in the box below.
Tick the ‘default’ box if you would like this to be your main email address.
Click on the ‘Save’ button.
How do I update my address?

Scroll down to ‘Address’ and click on the ‘Edit’ cog on the right-hand side of that row.
Click ‘Add address’.
Choose the address type e.g. Home or Work.
Type your address in the corresponding boxes.
Tick the ‘Main Address’ box if you would like this to be the address we use to contact you via post.
Click on the ‘Save’ button.
If you are no longer at an address listed in this section, please also click on the corresponding ‘No longer in use’ button.
How do I update my phone number?
Log in to the Chigwell Connect website.
On the ‘Home’ page on the top right you will see a circle with an arrow. Click on that and select ‘My settings’.
Scroll down to ‘Phone Numbers’ and click on the ‘Edit’ cog on the right-hand side of that row.
Click ‘Add phone’.
Choose the phone type e.g. Mobile, Home or Work.
Add your phone number in the ‘Type phone’ box.
Tick the ‘default’ box if you would like this to be the number we use to contact you via phone.
Click on the ‘Save’ button.
How do I change my password?
Log in to the Chigwell Connect website.
On the ‘Home’ page on the top right you will see a circle with an arrow. Click on that and select ‘My settings’.
Scroll down to ‘Password’ and click on the ‘Edit’ cog on the right-hand side of that row.
Type in a new password.
Confirm the new password by typing it again.
Click the ‘Save’ button to change your password.
