New Sport and Wellness Centre now open

Chigwell School marked the opening of its new and impressive Sport and Wellness Centre last Wednesday. The ribbon-cutting event was led by the Vice-Chair of our Governors, Mr Morriss, and attended by our Head, Mr King, staff, our Head pupil, Friends of Chigwell, and representatives of our construction partner McLaren.

This significant investment highlights the school's commitment to holistic education. Our new environmentally sustainable centre boasts the latest technology facilities, including a modern, multipurpose sports hall, fitness suites, a gym, a swimming pool, and a climbing wall. It's designed to promote physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and community engagement among students, families, local partners, and the wider community.

Mr Morriss, highlighted the importance of the new facility and the role it will play in Chigwell School's future strategic vision. He thanked, everyone involved for their commitment to this project and for its successful and timely completion.

The Sport and Wellness Centre represents a new chapter in Chigwell School's commitment to providing a well-rounded education to its pupils.

We are delighted to see it already being used by our pupils.
